Casie Young is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at NeuroPsych Wellness Center, currently accepting new patients. She offers both in-person and virtual appointments, tailoring her approach to meeting the unique needs and preferences of everyone. Casie has a special interest in treating psychiatric disorders during pregnancy and postpartum, supporting women through these challenging life stages. Additionally, she works with patients of all age groups, providing comprehensive care across the lifespan.
Born and raised in Northern Virginia, Casie earned her first bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from George Mason University in 2005, followed by a second bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2006. Her career began in inpatient labor and delivery, where she rose to the role of assistant nurse manager, collaborating with teams in labor and delivery, NICU, postpartum, and lactation services.
Driven by the increasing need for mental health care, Casie pursued further education to transition into psychiatric care. As a PMHNP, she specializes in medication management for conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and bipolar disorder. Her approach is compassionate, non-judgmental, and centered on listening and partnering with her patients to achieve the best outcomes.
As a daughter, wife, and mother of three, Casie brings a deep sense of empathy and understanding to her practice, offering supportive care that recognizes the complexities of mental health challenges.
