Erin K. Sweeney, Psy.D.

Erin K. Sweeney, Psy.D. received her B.S. in Psychology from The College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C., her M.A. in Psychology from Rhode Island College in Providence, R.I., and her M.A. and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University Washington, DC. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Psychology/Neuropsychology at Washington Medical Group, after which she practiced in several primary settings before joining NeuroPsych Wellness Center.

Dr. Sweeney specializes in psychological and neuropsychological assessments, with areas of interest that include Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), depression, anxiety, and various neuropsychological disorders. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Sweeney serves as the Director of Services at the NeuroPsych Welness Center, where she oversees psychological and neuropsychological testing.

A passionate teacher and mentor, Dr. Sweeney collaborates with the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where she supervises advanced externs and postdoctoral interns. This allows her to guide and develop upcoming professionals in the field of psychology.

She employs an integrative approach in individual therapy and enjoys collaborating with multi- disciplinary teams to enhance patient care. Dr. Sweeney is a member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology and the National Register of Health Service Psychologists, demonstrating her commitment to maintaining the highest standards in her practice.
