Lakesha McLaurin is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She began her journey in the mental health field in 2011 working as a paraprofessional while studying for the National Counselor Exam in Little Rock, Arkansas. She then became a Licensed Associate Counselor working with adolescents in school-based therapy.
From there, she has made the transition to working and contracting in/with various populations which include children, adolescents, geriatrics, and the non-profit sector. Her clinical focus is using CBT, Solution Focused, and Person-Centered therapies with clients in the therapeutic environment. Lakesha believes that working with clients to achieve their therapeutic goals and improve their daily living is the most vital part in achieving a healthy and fulfilled life.
